ROYALOAK CHRONOGRAPH
This is the latest Royal Oak chronograph.
This model Ref. 26240 was released in 2022, the year of the Royal Oak's 50th anniversary, and the movement has been changed to the latest cal. 4401.
The biggest feature of the new movement, which was first installed in the old model Ref. 2021 released in 26239, is that it has been completely developed, designed and manufactured in-house.
It has a sapphire crystal case back, allowing you to appreciate the sophisticated decoration.
The basic performance has also been improved, with a long power reserve of approximately 70 hours, a jumping date, a flyback chronograph, and a zero reset mechanism that resets the chronograph accumulation counter to zero at the same time.
The Royal Oak chronograph lineup has long included a model based on a movement supplied by Ebauche, so it has evolved into a highly complete model that has been released at a long time ago.
The Royal Oak was born in 1972 and celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, but regarding machines equipped with chronographs,
It was released as Royal Oak Offshore in 20, about 1993 years later.
The first model as "Royal Oak Chronograph" was from Ref.1998 in 25860, and it was minor changed to Ref.2008 in 26300.
It has been in production for about 14 years, and its distinctive features include a case diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 11 mm, which is a classic exterior.
In 40, the 2012th anniversary of the birth of the Royal Oak, it became the third generation Ref.3, and in 26320 it underwent a minor change to Ref.2017.
It has been in production for about 9 years, but the feature has been changed to a case diameter of 41 mm, which is the same as the current model.
For about 1998 years from 2020 to 22, the movement was equipped with a movement supplied by Frederic Piguet.
It was a movement that was highly regarded for its extremely high stability and was a typical example of the vertical clutch system, but due to the latest model change, it has been retired from service.
This highly complete basic design and design layout are followed in this model, and the essence of AP's "Royal Oak Chronograph Model" can be felt universally.
