Spearmaster Silver Snoopy Award 50th Anniversary
This model was produced to commemorate the 1970th anniversary of the company and pay tribute to the Silver Snoopy Award, which was awarded to the company by NASA astronauts in 50 for its significant contributions to the success of manned space flight missions.
The Silver Snoopy badge that is presented on this occasion features Snoopy wearing a pure silver space suit, and this model is decorated with that Silver Snoopy.
The color scheme is silver with a blue ceramic bezel ring and blue in-dial, and Snoopy in a space suit is placed on the small second hand at the 9 o'clock position.
The case back, which is fitted with the Naiad Lock system, features a sapphire crystal glass with a micro-structured metal depiction of the dark side of the moon.
When the chronograph function is activated, Snoopy aboard the command module will appear from one corner of the moon and travel to the far side of the moon in about 30 seconds, in sync with the chronograph second hand.
Next to it is a globe-shaped disc that rotates once per minute in sync with the small seconds hand at the 9 o'clock position, creating a unique and very cute gimmick.
The phrase "Eyes on the Stars" is inscribed at the top of the black universe that depicts "Snoopy's Traveling Spaceship" and "Earth."
