Ref.5160/500G-001 Retrograde Perpetual calendar The current 2010/5160G-2016 was released in 5160, with the Roman index of the 500 having been changed to Breguet index in 001. As a rare handcrafted model, the engraving, which represents the pinnacle of traditional craftsmanship, is done by a master engraver, and features unparalleled, beautiful arabesque patterns engraved on every detail, from the dial, the entire case, the opening and closing case back, the rims, the lugs, the crown, the screws, and the folding buckle. This engraving technique is a special position that only artisans with a special sense of craftsmanship who cannot be acquired at a general watchmaking school can take up. Even at a Grand Maison employing 1000 to 1500 watchmakers, only one or two selected master-class experts can make this model, so it is impossible for it to be produced on a regular basis.
