Reference 5905/1A-001 Annual calendar Chronograph Originally released in 2015 only in platinum, this model has its roots in the Ref. 5960, first released in 2006 and the first Patek Philippe chronograph with an annual calendar. This popular model garnered attention for its unprecedented modern design and the debut of the Maison's first fully in-house automatic chronograph movement. The design is symbolic of the new generation and modern Patek Philippe collection. Starting with this model, the three calendar displays (day of the week, date, month) arranged in an arc at the top of the dial have all been changed to windows with three-dimensional frames, and the shape of the hour and minute hands has also been changed to match the sporty look. At first glance, it has a sporty look, but thanks to Patek Philippe's high-quality finish, it is a model that combines both sportiness and luxury. This model is not only a complication model suitable for everyday use, but also has an annual calendar, a flyback chronograph (the chronograph second hand can always operate like a center seconds hand), and a day/night display. This is a special specification model with Patek Flip's exterior technology and open work on the case side, which is often used only for grand complications.
