Ref.26470ST.OO.A099CR.01 The 1993mm Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph was born in 42 as a derivative model of the Royal Oak. The Royal Oak Offshore is a larger, thicker, and more massive version of the Royal Oak as an extreme sports watch, and has a case size of 42 mm, which was large at the time. It is still a major popular collection of Audemars Piguet as an innovative and distinctive model that has never been seen before, such as the use of a rubber-coated bezel and rubber strap. The model has been changed to the current model "26470", and the bold design has been changed to black ceramic for even more scratch resistance, making it more active. And then there's the so-called "Havana Style" model, which combines an elegant "cigar brown" dial with a "Caribbean Blue" counter and inner bezel. It was changed to an in-house movement cal.3126/3840, and for a long time it used an ebauche movement, but now it is the company's first regularly produced in-house chronograph movement. |
