Ref.5170P-001 Chronograph Announced in 2017 The company's hand-wound chronographs have a long history, and they have a lineage where you can feel the evolution of the mechanism the most. The Cal.CH 2009-29 PS chronograph movement, developed entirely in-house in 535, has a classic mechanism that watch enthusiasts love (hand-wound type, column wheel, horizontal clutch), making it a model that symbolizes a new era for Patek Philippe. This is the core movement equipped with this. It is also a model that takes safety into consideration by adopting the company's patented dynamometric crown (a structure that prevents the mainspring from winding up). The dial of this model is a special dial with nine (9 ct) baguette diamonds set in the index, as the company injects extraordinary technology and passion into dial production. The "Blue Sunburst Black Gradient Dial" has a different design from the regular dial, and is made by using a brush to dye the blue dial's shades of paint. This is a rare model that is a limited edition product with individual differences in shade. |
